True to her midwestern nice roots, Jen had a hard time bragging about herself and was too busy taking care of all of our other date auction candidates and sponsors for the event - so our committee got together and wrote this bio for her.

Here’s what you need to know: not only is Jen gorgeous, tenacious, witty, and kind-hearted.. she’s also an accomplished executive who she sings a mean 80s ballad at karaoke. She’s an excellent storyteller with plenty to share - she’s traveled through 34 countries, started working at Google before it was a verb, and is working on her first book (of dating stories).

When she’s not Googling, working on her graduate degree, or fundraising for HackCancer - she spends her time enjoying the California weather. She’s always quick to remind us that as a true Chicagoan she’ll never complain about what we call “cold” weather ...and she’ll never lose hope in that this just might be the year the Cubs go all the way.

Why is Jen committed to raising money and awareness for HackCancer charities?

Cancer has touched the lives of many of her friends and their families - and thus she’s dedicated to helping do what she can to help improve the lives of those affected by the disease.  Jen has been a longtime friend of HackCancer co-founder Anjou Ahlborn and recently joined the board in order to help leverage her many talents to help the organization continue to maximize it’s impact within the Bay Area community.
