WHAT IS YOUR INNOVATION/IDEA?

Currently the Internet in one generation has already changed the world and everything related with it is conveyed in a two dimensional field, which funny enough has only been displayed through a screen. As virtual reality is coming to fruition the acceleration of technology and our desires rises along with it.  With the Internet already making a major impact on the world as we know it a question arises, what if the Internet was presented in the third dimension?

Jahan, Persian for the world and the universe, is a framework and platform that will show people what the Internet looks like in the third dimension.

TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF?

When he held his first Game Boy, Dara’s passion for technology sparked, and since then, he has had a curious mindset. Continuing to feed his passion by learning how to program as a teenager and eventually graduated with a degree in International Business, even now Dara’s entrepreneurial and inquisitive mindset is stronger than ever before. Shortly before moving to San Francisco he established a nonprofit organization in Nepal and India, which aimed to provide Internet to rural and developing areas using low cost technologies.

WHY ARE YOU PARTICIPATING IN THIS COMPETITION?

Much of Dara’s family was diagnosed with various forms of cancer throughout his life, including but not limited to a very close family member getting diagnosed with Leukemia.  After experiencing firsthand the effects cancer can have on a family and loved ones he is now participating in the Mr/Mrs Silicon Valley contest to use his passion for technology and philanthropy and help other families’ battle cancer and raise awareness that no one has to fight cancer alone.
